I was able to get into IP law next semester, but I am not deluded as I realize my internal conflicts will continue and the class will probably serve to further muddle my thoughts.

Justice William O. Douglas - this quote prompted me to look him up as I dig the quote. Unfortunately, he was not around during the age of the Internet so one can only presume how he would rule. Perhaps not so surprisingly, these words remain true today (and probably with time will simply gain even more support in furtherance of its accuracy and truthfulness). I am betting, though, he would have been a fan of Al Gore’s documentary and not so pro-Bush.

“Pass” is for those who have no opinion or feel the burning need to qualify decisions they make. I recognize that by forcing one choice over the other a fully accurate representation of your opinion or preference may prove impossible, therefore, I allowed for the “pass” option.

I saw a headline on my Yahoo! portal page saying Fox had signed on Jason Bateman for a new show. I was encouraged to read the article as I think Jason Bateman is an underrated actor. He really does comedy well. — Unfortunately, though, the show will be animated. — He should get another sit-com. While I do not necessarily see him headlining a movie I think he definitely turns out good performances in smaller parts and character roles.

I highly recommend streaming episodes of the old series “Arrested Development“. There is something so special about viewing shows in close proximity to one’s face on a screen. It’s intimate in a non-freaky way and makes me pay closer attention and better appreciate the subtle one-liners than watching on some huge screen a few yards away. I love computers, the Internet, Google and of course, my fan.
