Best-selling “God” author faces plagiarism claim -

“Neale Donald Walsch, best-selling author of “Conversations with God,” said Tuesday that he unwittingly passed off another writer’s Christmas anecdote as his own in a recent blog post. Read it…”
I am greatly amused by this story which tells of the best-selling author of being accused of plagiarizing a “Christmas Love” story via publication on a spiritual-oriented website. Guess I, too, will have to stop passing-off this story as my own during our book-reading club (we only read the “Chicken Soup for the…” book series). Everyone thought it was oh-so-adorable!

Then I started to think about the definition of .. Then I starting thinking about judgmental behaviors, obliviousness, hypocrisy. I really dig the Supernatural boys, especially the boy with the one-liners: Jensen Ackles.
But back to the mix-tapes. Mix tapers have it so easy now. Once upon a time it would take me several man-hours spread across several days to create a single mix tape. If I wanted to include one song I had two options: either buy or borrow the record or tape with had the song I wanted to include in my masterpiece or wait for the radio to play it. I distinctly recall sitting there waiting for some damn song to play on the radio, my finger hovering over the play button, ignoring the fact that even being all set and prepared to go the first few milliseconds of the song will be cut off. “Come on, play Crazy for You, play Crazy for You!”
Never underestimate the effect a movie or TV shows score has on the viewers. Would I have enjoyed certain WB or Fox shows if they didn’t play that perfect selected song at that perfect moment? Would I have started to feel the tears well up in my eyes during the wedding scene in Smallville this last week if I had the sound muted? Doubtful. IP Law - in theory in recognition of the arts…
